Meet Nathan Phillips, A Computer Engineering student with a Psychology Minor. This summer he is interning abroad at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Germany. His favorite part about his work is just how much learning he is doing, “I have already learned so much from such a diverse community of researchers here from around the world, and I’m learning even more in the next two months!”

Meet Sarah Mlynek, A German Bachelor of Arts in Guidance for education, employment and career student and University Career Center Intern! After first coming to the United States as an Au Pair for a family in Kansas City she fell in love with Kansas and knew she wanted to do an internship here. She set to work, cold calling and emailing different university career centers and when we received her interest we couldn’t wait to have her in the office. In her role she does appointment shadowing and is learning the ins and outs of American career advising.
