13.5.2.3 Air Transportation. An institution providing air transportation to a PSA to/from an OV must use commercial transportation at coach-class airfare. Coaching staff members shall not accompany a PSA to or from an OV when air travel is used, except as permitted in 13.5.2.4

NCAA Bylaw 12.7.5 allows a male student to practice with an institution’s women’s basketball team in required summer athletic activities provided he was enrolled full time at the conclusion of the regular academic term immediately preceding the institution’s summer term.

As a friendly reminder, the annual camps and clinics meeting will be held Thursday, April 26 at 11:00am in Hadl Auditorium. It is important that a representative from each sport and relevant department be in attendance.

As a reminder, a travel day related to athletics participation may not be considered a day off, regardless of the distance or duration of travel - NCAA Bylaw 17.1.7.6.1

NCAA Staff Interpretation- 2/17/17- Contact and Evaluation of Committed Prospective Student-Athletes (I) - a coaching staff member may not attend an event that involves PSAs if it occurs during a time period when it is not permissible to engage in recruiting activities.

NCAA Staff Interpretation 9/13/13 Recognition of Accomplishments in a Particular Contest or Event (I) states that an institution may provide a memento of nominal value (e.g., game ball), which may not include cash/cash equivalents, to a SA for recognition of an accomplishment
