Hawk Week | The University of Kansas Hawk Week 2013 - August 23 - 30 - Hawk Week is the official welcome week at the University of Kansas.

One big day. One big thanks. The Big Event at KU is a service project intended to bring the University of Kansas community closer to the larger community of Lawrence. Based on a service event begun by students at Texas A&M University in 1982, The Big Event has grown to include participation by more than 70 universities nationwide. The Big Event is designed to provide Lawrence community residents with a cost-free helping hand on projects around their neighborhoods and households.

The Hawks take on Michigan in a big game tonight. Check out the special Sweet 16 edition of The University Daily Kansan for more about tonight's matchup. Where will you be watching the game?
