Thanks to everyone who supported our Pink Out sales — together, the Lions Pride PTO was able to donate $255 to the LMH Health Women’s Cancer Center right here in Lawrence, KS! 🎀

FAFSA Help on October 27th at the University of Kansas. You do not have to be applying to KU to attend. Most Post-Secondary Institutions have a Financial Aid office and they are the most knowledgeable about the process.

Announcing the tenth annual Ovation USD 497 Talent Show—February 1, 2026, at the Lied Center of Kansas. We are looking for the next rising stars to perform in the show! ✨✨✨ Middle and high school students in Lawrence Public Schools can apply by Nov. 5 to audition for the show. All talents are welcome!
Tickets for the event are on sale now, and proceeds benefit the Lawrence Schools Foundation.

Introducing the playgroup/group connection schedule for 2025-26! The first Wednesday of each month we invite families in our PAT and Lawrence community to our open playgroup. Here children and families will have an opportunity to engage with each other and learn more about Lawrence Parent as Teachers.
The third Wednesday of each month we will host our group connections. This will be a time for intentional parent-child interactions that encompass a particular child development area or family well being topic. These may be held in the morning, evenings or on Saturdays either in our playroom at Kennedy ECC or in the community.
