The Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP) is excited to host our 6th Annual National Job Placement Fair! Applications open now.
The DAPP Direct Job Placement Fair gives 1L law students the opportunity to interview for a paid internship with a law firm and/or corporation during the summer after their 1L year. Selected students must attend the DAPP Direct Job Fair, which typically takes place in February. Selected students must also attend the client-readiness boot camp and other professional development training sessions as required. For 2023, the Fair will be virtual.

We're so used to seeing shiny resumes and career highlights on social media, but rarely do we see the sometimes harrowing and oftentimes wondering story behind it. When we do, it's usually from a memoir at the end.
In this program, Jordana Alter Cofino (from Fordham University Law School) and Ashley Menzies Babatunde will discuss overcoming setbacks and offer guidance for law students and recent graduates navigating their legal careers. Ashley will share her personal struggle with the bar exam and unpack some of the lessons learned along the way, including practical tips for overcoming career setbacks. At 12:30 pm on Wednesday, September 28, a Symplicity workshop called 24 Hours of Wichita will open. It is capped at 25 RSVPs – 20 participants and 5 alternates. Make sure you’re available to participate BEFORE you sign up; if you need to drop out after signing up, let Meredith and Stacey know. They will then contact the alternate attendees in order of sign-up.
