New staff alert 🚨! We are so excited to welcome Josh Rudman as KU Hillel's new Assistant Director!

Josh is a St. Louis native and graduate of the University of Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences in 2020. His first job after college was working with endangered wolves (a role he still loves talking about with anyone who's interested). Josh discovered his passion for Jewish communal work as both a camper and staff member at Jewish summer camp. That passion led him to Hillel, where he began as a Springboard Fellow at Michigan State Hillel before spending the last four years as Assistant Director of Camp Sabra. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about creating meaningful Jewish experiences, building community, and empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders.

Josh has long felt connected to Kansas through family and friends he visited while growing up. As KU Hillel's Assistant Director, he is excited to collaborate with students and staff to create engaging programs and cultivate a vibrant Jewish community where every student feels welcome, connected, and empowered.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys cooking, playing just about any frisbee sport, and searching for the perfect cup of coffee.

Make sure to give Josh a warm KU welcome in the comments and come meet him this fall at Hillel!

KU Hillel is where Jewish Jayhawks can figure out who they want to become. It’s where students learn how to network, take on leadership roles, and build confidence that stays with them beyond their time on campus.

Every year, hundreds of students like Rachael have life-changing experiences at no cost to them, thanks to the support of our parents, alumni, and community members - like you!

Will you help us finish this year strong and build an even brighter future for the next generation of Jayhawks with a donation today?
