Lawrence XC Closes Out SW10 Season

The Lawrence girls were led by Aurora McQueen, who finished 17th overall in 23:51.8, earned Second Team All-Conference honors, and recorded a Personal Best while taking more than a minute off her previous best time. Mariana Vinaja continued her strong season with a 25th-place finish in 24:24.9, delivering one of the team's biggest improvements of the year by nearly trimming two minutes from her previous Personal Best. Kacey Reyes finished 27th in 24:41.6 and capped off her season with a breakthrough race, cutting more than a minute and a half from her previous best. Zoey Soppelsa rounded out the girls lineup with a 52nd-place finish in 27:55.0.

The Lawrence boys wrapped up the conference season with a 5th-place finish in the SW10 Conference standings. At the Conference Finals, Xavier Glover led the team with a 22nd-place finish in 19:32.2 and a Personal Best. Rendyn Alfieri followed in 26th place with a Personal Best time of 19:53.7, while Robert Palacios placed 32nd in 20:29.8 with another Personal Best performance. Adrian Valerio recorded a Season Best time of 23:24.3 to finish 53rd. Shadow Bebe added a Personal Best with his 61st-place finish in 27:59.5, and Walter Waite completed the varsity lineup with a 62nd-place finish in 30:53.1.

Middle school runner Landon Marsh-Peek also had a standout day, placing 21st overall in 14:31.9 while recording a Personal Best and knocking nearly a minute and a half off his previous top time.

Tigers Run Strong at SW10 League Jamboree

The Lawrence Tigers competed in the SW10 League Jamboree at Bangor on Wednesday, facing strong competition from across the conference. On the girls side, Aurora McQueen led Lawrence with a 17th-place finish and a season-best time of 25:19.3. Mariana Vinaja continued her strong season by earning a personal-best time of 26:19.5 to place 30th overall. Kacey Reyes finished 39th in 27:17.5, while Zoey Soppelsa took 49th with a time of 29:12.8.

The boys team was led by freshman Rendyn Alfieri, who ran a personal-best 20:44.5 to finish 22nd overall. Juan Garcia placed 26th in 21:07.4, followed closely by Robert Palacios in 27th at 21:08.0. Xavier Glover finished 28th in 21:22.5, and Andon Offord recorded a season-best 21:23.8 for 30th place. Adrian Valerio placed 53rd with a time of 24:50.5, while Shadow Bebe finished 61st in 28:49.9.

Lawrence's lone middle school competitor, Landon Marsh-Peek, turned in an excellent performance in the boys 2-mile race. The seventh grader finished 24th overall and achieved a personal-best time of 16:00.9.

Two more crushing defeats were handed out by our Middle School Tigers tonight! Volleyball, Coached by Alma Robles, dominated their game with White Pigeon 25-9, 25-14, 25-23.
Soccer, Coached by Andrea Mandujano, scorched by Hartford in an 8-0 victory with goals by Adrian Barrientous (3) , Lukas Solis (1) , Caleb Garcia (1) , Jabes Garcia (2) and Bella Rocha-keymoole (1)!! !!

Lawrence Cross Country Competes at Bangor Invitational

The Lawrence Tigers competed at the Bangor Invitational on Saturday, with several athletes turning in strong performances on the challenging course. On the girls' side, Aurora McQueen led Lawrence with a 33rd-place finish in 26:07.8. Close behind was Kacey Reyes, who placed 34th in 26:14.1 and recorded a personal best. Zoey Soppelsa also had a strong outing, finishing 45th in 27:55.0 while earning a personal best as well.

In the boys varsity race, Rendyn Alfieri paced the Tigers with a 42nd-place finish in 21:48.7. Juan Garcia followed in 48th place with a time of 22:58.1, while Adrian Valerio completed the course in 25:24.9 to finish 55th overall.

Representing Lawrence in the middle school boys race, Landon Marsh-Peek finished 60th with a time of 16:18.8 in the two-mile event.
