Sing with Kirsten on June 18th! Singer-songwriter Kirsten Paludan is one of our guest artists at the first ever LCC summer singalong. Born and raised in Lawrence, KS, Kirsten Paludan has been performing, creating art, and making music in the area for over three decades. She has an extensive recording catalogue, which includes two full length solo albums and an EP (self-produced), and many local and national releases. A leader and member of numerous bands, including her own solo project, she has composed music for film and theater, and has also developed and directed multiple theatrical productions premiering locally and on the national stage. Paludan has been a vocal coach, also teaching guitar, piano and songwriting, for almost 10 years. We are so excited for Kirsten and Nick Carswell to lead us in some of your favorite songs. Sing with Nick on June 18th! Nick Carswell is one of our guest artists at the first ever LCC summer singalong. Nick is originally from Limerick, Ireland. He has been performing professionally for more than 25 years, in his native Ireland and across the US Midwest, where he has lived since 2011. His main creative output is as songwriter and frontman for the alt-rock 5 piece, Carswell & Hope who have release 2 full length records and toured internationally. He's also the founder and director of Lawrence Music Alliance and the host of 105 Live on Kansas Public Radio.
