Kid-Start, Inc. Kid-Start has provided quality care for children in the Greater Lawrence area since 1986. We are looking forward to working with you!

We are home to two Child Care agencies: Family Child Care & Child Care Center. Family Child Care is care given in a private, state-licensed home to a small group of children. In a smaller setting, the educator is attentive to every child and their needs to enhance early learning. Care is offered to children ranging in age from 8 weeks to 13 years old. The Child Care Center is a state-licensed faci

lity that provides a loving, nurturing environment and a well-balanced curriculum to meet the needs of all children. Our program provides care for children ages two months through fifth grade. We offer full and half-day rates for preschool and school-aged children. Note: We can only accommodate full daycare for infants and toddlers in our program. We have created a “home away from home” atmosphere, where children are safe, happy, and comfortable in their surroundings. Our purpose at Kid-Start is to inspire, develop, and guide children and families through transitions between their home life and school. To provide you and your child(ren) with excellent care and support – our staff members are all carefully screened by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). We continuously monitor our Licensed Family Child Care homes to ensure quality childcare. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
