The BCDC Breastfeeding Coalition of Douglas County is active again (there was a hiatus after COVID) - go follow us!! We are working on getting the Communities Supporting Breastfeeding designation from the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition.
If you own a business or work for a company that would be a good fit for the Breastfeeding Welcome Here pledge would you be willing to fill out the quick form to get the designation? Our Executive Director has been trying to avoid looking too closely at all the zeros on our recent maintenance bills—but unfortunately, the building isn't giving us that option! 😊

After more than 30 years of serving thousands of children in our current building, it's starting to show its age. In just the past several months, we've faced emergency plumbing repairs, planned electrical work, unexpected electrical work, and a major flooring remodel that has turned into a much larger project than anticipated.

The Children's Learning Center has proudly served children and families since 1969, and we've called our current building home since 1993. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, play, and create lifelong memories.

To continue that mission, we need your help.
