This is more than a partnership – it’s a launchpad. 🚀
Today’s are tomorrow’s engineers, scientists, pilots, mission leaders, innovators, and explorers.
That’s why Scouting America is proud to announce a new, five-year partnership with NASA to help inspire young people through immersive STEM learning experiences tied to space exploration, aeronautics and real-world career pathways.
Together, Scouting America and NASA will help introduce young people to cutting-edge STEM concepts and future career pathways connected to space exploration, aeronautics, engineering, robotics and Earth systems. The collaboration will also support Scouting America’s national and local programming efforts, bringing NASA-inspired learning opportunities to Scouts across the country.
Many astronauts found their love for space sciences through Scouting experiences. Astronauts even trained at Philmont Scout Ranch in 1964. Today, Scouting America is proud to support Artemis missions engagement through this new partnership with NASA.
From members who dream about visiting the moon, to seeking new horizons, taking on new STEM adventures, and first-graders in who already have sights set on the stars – this partnership is for YOU. We want YOU to dream bigger, dive in, work hard and discover what’s possible.

Members of the Cub Scout Pack 3370 Tiger Den enjoyed one or two days at Camp Naish’s Tiger Camp. The recent kindergarteners tied knots, created and played games, enjoyed BBs and archery, and splashed in the pool. It was a great introduction to Cub Scout summer camping!

A scout is clean, a scout is helpful, and scouts leave a place better than they found it! Cub Scout Pack 3370 picked up litter all around Deerfield 497 Elementary and Deerfield Park this afternoon, helping to clean up from yesterday's amazing Deerfield PTO Carnival.
This was part of the much larger Scouts Trash The Trash Day, an international Messengers of Peace Project in which scouts all around the planet are challenged to pick up one kilogram (2.2 pounds) of trash in their local communities. These scouts are learning to be capable, conscientious leaders who know that small acts of responsibility can make a world of difference.

On April 17, the Cub Scout Pack 3370 Wolf Den learned about where water in our homes comes from, discussed how water becomes polluted and thought about ways we can conserve water at home as part of the Spirit of the Water adventure. The den welcomed Laura Perry from the City of Lawrence Municipal Services and Operations, who shared how waste water is filtered and treated, as well as how the city's water becomes safe to drink. Thank you to Laura and the City of Lawrence for their outreach efforts!

This evening the Lion Den (Kindergarteners) of Cub Scout Pack 3370 worked on their "Ready, Set, Grow" Adventure at Pendleton's Country Market, a farm just east of Lawrence, with the legendary Karen Pendleton. Our Lions learned about various plants and vegetables, gardening techniques, feeding chickens, where their food comes from, and how it is grown.

One fish, two fish, sunfish, blue (gill) fish! We had a slightly wet but supremely wonderful Cub Scout Pack 3370 Spring Family Campout! Our scouts enjoyed fishing, exploring, cooking, and more! We had perfect weather for our Saturday adventures, which culminated in a campfire full of silly skits and songs, a meaningful flag retirement ceremony, and delicious s'mores. A rainy night made for perfect sleeping weather and a great morning with friends.
