For Tisha B’Av, we’re sharing a preview page from our upcoming Jewish History Comic Book—telling the story of our connection to Israel from Bereish*t until today.

For thousands of years, the Jewish people’s connection to Israel has never been broken. Through exile, challenges, and generations of longing, Jerusalem remained at the center of our prayers, our holidays, and our hopes.

Our goal with this book is to make Jewish history come alive for the next generation through engaging comics, powerful storytelling, and meaningful lessons.

Today is Shivah Asar B’Tammuz—the day the walls of Jerusalem were breached, beginning the painful path toward the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash.

As Chazal teach, walls don’t only fall from outside attacks—they first crack from within. Sinat chinam, disunity, and forgetting what holds us together can weaken even the strongest walls.

This scene and the full page is a preview of my upcoming Israel comic book, where I’m working to bring Jewish history to life through comics. The full page explores the Churban and the deeper lessons it carries for us today.

This book will be part of a larger curriculum introducing 6th–8th graders to Zionism, Jewish history, and our connection to Eretz Yisrael.
