💙💛 Great first “Brott to You Live” of the year!

We had a great time this past Tuesday sitting down with our CTMS parents for real, genuine conversations, sharing ideas, answering questions, and celebrating all the GOOD happening across our campus and areas we are working on making stronger!

Strong schools are built on strong relationships, and the connections we forge with our families help strengthen our entire community and make CTMS an even better place for our students.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We would love to have more join at the next one! Future Fall dates are listed below. When we work together, we all move forward… As One! 🚣💙💛

💙💛 Introducing the Boys2Men Mentorship Group at CTMS! 💛💙

We are excited to launch Boys2Men, a new mentorship group at CTMS led by Coach Gatlin, Coach Jackson, and Coach Fletcher!

Coach Gatlin and Coach Jackson helped establish this program while in Garland and saw firsthand the incredible growth and impact it had—not only on the young men involved, but on the mentors as well. Now, they’re excited to bring that same mission and commitment to CTMS!

The mission of Boys2Men is simple: Inspire. Instill. Motivate.

The group will create a space where young men can be themselves, support one another through challenges, celebrate each other’s successes, and develop the confidence and skills needed to become strong leaders.

From day one, Boys2Men will focus on three non-negotiables:

⭐ Character — Who you are
⭐ Conduct — How you carry yourself
⭐ Conversation — How you communicate and connect with others

Our coaches said it best: “Sometimes all a kid needs is a push in the right direction and a light showing them a path they never knew was there.”

Students may be nominated by a staff member or may pick up an application in the counseling office if they would like the opportunity to be selected for the group.

We can’t wait to see the relationships built, the growth that takes place, and the impact Boys2Men will have on our young men, our school and community —not just during their time at CTMS, but for years to come.

Real impact takes a village. Let’s build these young men up together! 💪💙💛

🎨🚣 Creativity is flowing at CTMS!

Our talented art students had a fun day in Mrs. Warren’s art class putting their creativity to work and creating some awesome pieces! Just like a crew in the boat, every student brings something unique that helps keep us moving forward. 💙💛

🏆 CONGRATS, 7TH GRADE! 🏆

Our 7th graders are this week’s Attendance Champions, earning the highest average attendance percentage for the week of August 17th! 👏💙💛

As their reward, 7th graders have earned a PJ DAY this Monday, August 24th! 💤🎉 Please remember that all PJs must be appropriate for school wear.

Great job showing up, Trailblazers! 💪 Now the question is… which grade level will come out on top next week? 👀🏆

Mr. Matthews is the definition of a team player—always taking initiative, stepping up wherever needed, and wearing many hats to help keep CTMS moving in the right direction! 💙💛

We appreciate his willingness to jump in, support others, and do whatever it takes for our students and staff to keep us rowing in the right direction. Thank you for all you do, Mr. Matthews!
