Every classroom at NeSmith Elementary has a Social Contract created with the voices of our students! ✨
These contracts are more than just words on a wall. They are shared agreements about how students and staff want to treat one another and how they want to be treated in return. Our students help create the expectations for a classroom where everyone feels respected, valued, and supported.
Our Social Contracts are always available to revisit, reflect on, and add to as our classroom communities grow. We use them as a tool to help redirect when needed and remind one another of the commitments we made together.
Every student signs their Social Contract as a commitment to these expectations—and every staff member who enters the classroom does the same!
We are incredibly proud of our NeSmith Heroes who are already using their superpowers to build positive relationships, strengthen our classroom communities, and help us work toward our goal of becoming a Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase Campus! 💙✨
