Message from our music teacher, Mrs. Jansen
Lavina Public Schools is excited to announce that we have 50 students enrolled across our three band classes! 🎶

It is going to be a wonderful year, and I am honored to work with all of these talented young musicians. However, we have several students who do not currently have an instrument to play.

We would like to encourage our community to consider donating any band instruments that may be sitting unused in your home. If you know of someone who may be interested in donating an instrument to our school music program, we would greatly appreciate you sharing this message with them.

Your generosity could make it possible for a student to discover the joy of making music and being part of a band.

Thank you so much for your consideration and support of our students and music program!

Just a friendly reminder that students will be released at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. This is a change from last year's schedule and is reflected on the 2026-2027 Academic Calendar, which was approved by the Board of Trustees on May 22, 2026.

If your child is participating in an after-school activity or sport, they are expected to leave campus at dismissal and return at their scheduled practice time. Students will not be able to remain at school between dismissal and practice.

HS girls practice today at 5:30-7:30 in Broadview. :)
