Rogers Ranch STEM Academy

Yesterday was the annual Science and Engineering Fair at the LEC. Our 6th grade representatives took 1st place overall with their burrowing owl project and our 7th grade representatives took 2nd place overall with wind turbine blade design efficiency!

We are proud of all of our students who represented Rogers Ranch!

Yesterday we kicked off Staff Appreciation week with the famous Scookie Bar! Our staff enjoyed half baked cookies with a scoop of ice cream and their favorite topping. A special thanks to our sponsors Concord General Contracting and Pueblo Mechanical for making this happen.

On Friday we had our end of year assemblies for the Superintendents Math All-Stars and Reading Superheroes clubs. Our 3rd and 4th graders read 114,624 minutes this year which is over 30,000 more than last year.

This year was the first year for the Reading Superheroes club and our 2nd graders took 1st place in the district reading a total of 212, 443 minutes. Our teachers were presented with a trophy that is proudly displayed in the front office!

Yesterday we held our Science & Engineering Fair. All of our students did a wonderful job including our Kindergarten through 4th grade classes who completed their own science fair projects. Next week, our 1st place winners in 5th-8th will represent us at the district Science Fair! We wish them the best of luck!

Let’s promote healthy & happy hearts while raising donations for the American Heart Association to fight America’s #1 and #4 killers, heart disease and stroke! Our school can also earn funding and PE equipment along the way!

Goals & Celebrations:
The top fundraising class will get either a pizza or ice cream party!
When we raise $1,000 in lifesaving donations, Mrs. Neill will be silly stringed! - can we do this again this year?! 🙂
