One of our amazing families came in to teach us about the sun and our universe. We learned so much today. It was a great way to finish our unit on our Solar System which we connected to Lavallette’s “One Book One School” novel “Hidden Figures.” We learned about astrophotography, were introduced to the four states of matter, and got to see images of solar flares, Aurora Borealis, the solar eclipse, and many more.
