Caring, supportive and well-trained advocates at the National Domestic Violence Hotline can provide safety tips and referrals to services and resources in your community. Join community discussion forums to ask questions or connect with others. Breastcancer.org also hosts multiple virtual support groups each week.

🍇🥦 EXCITING NEWS FOR LAVACA ELEMENTARY! 🍎🥕
We are thrilled to announce that we have received the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) Grant for the 2026-2027 school year! 🎉
Starting October 1st, 2026, our Kindergarten through 4th-grade students will begin a delicious journey to taste the rainbow! 🌈 Here is what you need to know about this amazing program:
✨ What is it? Two to four days a week, a special fresh fruit or vegetable snack will be delivered directly to K-4 classrooms for students to enjoy.
✨ Taster Bites: Many items are served as small "taster bites"—the perfect, low-pressure way to expose students to something new and expand the variety of healthy foods they consume!
✨ Learn as We Snack: Fun nutritional information will be delivered or emailed right along with the snacks so students can learn all about what they are eating.
We are so proud to bring this healthy initiative to our school community. Get ready to try some incredible new fruits and veggies, Arrows! 🏹💜💛
