Did you know, right here in Laurens County the number of youth needing mentors greatly exceeds the available supply of volunteers who serve as mentors? Impact 2 Purpose mentoring program creates and sustains community-based, long-term, one-to-one and group relationships between adult volunteer mentors and youth who lack a positive adult relationships. These relationships exposes youth-in-need to new opportunities for learning and growth, with an emphasis on positive youth development, academic achievement, health and wellness, prevention services, and critical skills for future self-sufficiency. We are in need of (MEN)TORS.. Our goal is to build a ‘community of caring’ for young people through networks, collaborations, and coalitions and Increase positive behaviors, reduce risk behaviors, and improve the self-concept of youth in order to help them make healthy choices and reach their full potential...we need you!!!
