Today was a special day for our Raiders as our boys got their first look at their brand-new locker room! We celebrated with an exciting unveiling before turning our attention to tonight’s game.

A great new space for a great group of young men. Now it’s time to fill the stands and cheer them on!

The LDHS Freshman Academy recognizes five freshmen each month that demonstrate the qualities of a Five Star Culture of Excellence! Students are nominated by their teachers each month and are recognized by the administrative team. The five star freshmen for the month of August are:

Laurens District High School Early Dismissal Procedures
Early Dismissal Requests must be submitted via the Google Form by 10:00 a.m.
The Attendance Office will verify each early dismissal request by calling the parent/guardian using the contact information on file in PowerSchool. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure all contact information in PowerSchool is current.
The Early Dismissal Google Form will NOT be monitored after 10:00 a.m.
Students with student driver privileges must report to the Front Office at their designated dismissal time to sign out before leaving campus.
Students who are being picked up must be signed out by a parent/guardian or an authorized contact listed in PowerSchool. Anyone picking up a student must present a valid photo ID.
Early dismissals do not constitute an excuse for missed class time.
Requests After 10:00 a.m.
After 10:00 a.m., a parent/guardian or authorized emergency contact must come to the school to sign the student out in person. Phone calls will not be accepted for early dismissal requests.
As always, early dismissals are not permitted after 3:00 p.m.

**ALL EARLY DISMISSALS need to be entered by 10:00 AM to be processed efficiently. They will be processed in the order they are received. We cannot guarantee all early dismissals will be processed if they are entered after 10:00 AM. A phone number is required so that the note can be verified. If we....
