Over the years we have worked Diligently to bring Summer Enrichment camps and programs to our youth in Laurens county. Each year we strive to give local youth a MUCH more experience with plenty take aways than the year before, which can be applied for future self sufficiency and success!! This year we would like to invite local youth to be a part of “I2P Summer Retreat” in partnership with camp fellowship.. please contact me if you have a youth that’s interested or your organization wants to sponsor a youth!! Our goal is to make sure EVERY CHILD that want to attend get to be apart of the EXPERIENCE!!

We have fundraising opportunities available to help parents offset the cost!!

FYI PARENTS:

Always invite your children to come to you whenever they have questions or concerns about guns‼️

🔴Remind them never to touch any gun or bullets.

🔴Explain the difference between toy guns and real ones.

🔴Stress the fact that guns can kill and encourage them to make safe decisions.

🔴Lead by example and demonstrate safe gun practices that your children can observe.

🔴Encourage children to tell you if they ever feel unsafe at home or at school.

🔴Help choose programs, movies, and games that are non-violent.

🔴Talk to them about violence in television, movies, and videogames and prompt them to discuss their feelings.

🔴Be on the lookout for signs of depression, since su***de is one of the common causes of youth handgun death.

🔴Check with other parents and family members to find out if they have a gun in their home before your children visit.
