The E.B. family is so grateful to have Ms. Richie on our team!

Our Human Resources Department always works tirelessly to ensure we have filled positions and the best-fit individuals to fill them. At the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, we welcomed some new team members to our Raider Family. Today, we continue to welcome those who chose to be part of our district.

Meet Callie Jo Richey. Callie is a kindergarten classroom teacher’s assistant at EB Morse Elementary School. Callie has been working with young children for several years. She just received her Early Childhood Education degree from North Greenville University, and by May 2027, she will complete her certification to teach grades K-3.

Callie is from Laurens County and was a student in Laurens County School District 55. She has a deep appreciation and love for our community. She is thankful to have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young children.
She said, “I am so glad that I am a part of the Laurens 55 staff this year!”

Thank you, Callie! LCSD 55 is also glad to have you. You are essential in Building a 5-Star District of Excellence.

Happy National Instructional Coaches Appreciatation Day. Our coaches, Mrs. Sumerel and Mrs. Schar, help our teachers plan lessons, analyze data and student work, coach teachers, and lead professional development. We are thankful for these ladies leadership and support!

On Friday, October 2, 2026 our 4th Grade Scholary Students were busy putting their science knowledge and leadership skills into action while helping make E.B. Morse beautiful! Students planted colordul mums in the hanging baskets at the front of the school and added a variety of vegetables to our courtyard garden, including pole beans, lettuce, brussel sprouts, and broccoli.

Please remember that tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, 2026, is an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 11:20 a.m., and lunch will not be served.
There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, October 2, 2026 due to Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Fall Break follows October 5–9. We hope all of our Mustang families enjoy a safe and relaxing break!
