The Central Fire Company regretfully announces the unexpected passing of Firefighter Steven Noll. Steven suffered a medical emergency earlier this morning.

Steven has been a member of Central Fire Company for 31 years, joining when he was 16 years old. Steven held numerous positions throughout his career including Captain. Steven has played a significant role in training our departments personnel. Sharing the same passion he had by continually furthering his education in the fire service. In addition to being a dedicated Volunteer, Steven was also a Career Firefighter with the Western Berks Fire Department service since 2012. He was very active within the fire fighting community as an instructor teaching numerous firefighters throughout the Berks County area.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Noll family and his friends during this difficult time. We appreciate those who have reached out to offer condolences and support to our department. No funeral arrangements have been finalized at this time, further announcements will be made when available.

The officers and firefighters at Central Fire department would like to thank Blandon Fire Department for their very generous donation of their old vehicle rescue tools. They donated a hydraulic O cutter and Hydraulic Ram. These tools will be used for vehicle rescues in the coming future. Members will be trained on these tools in the coming weeks and putting them into service. Thank you again Officers and members of Blandon fire Department

The Central Fire Company officers and firefighters would like to thank Jenny Wi******er Davis and Mission BBQ for providing our members dinner last evening for our weekly training night. Also we would like to thank Heather Stoeber and her Daughter for their donation of Girl Scout cookies to our members, as well as their cards showing support. Thank you, you guys rock!
