This was the one I drove home from Baltimore in. I think I had to work that Christmas.

14 years ago, the "Boxing Day Blizzard" was in progress across our region. It was unusual for its fairly sharp north-south snowfall gradient, with eastern areas getting in excess of 18 inches while western areas generally saw less than 6.

Delaware Scuba is heading out!!

We are leaving Laurel on Friday, 29 November and Diving at Lake Phoenix, SCUBA Park, in Rawlings, VA for a weekend underwater with the Laurel Fire Department

Abby, Alyssa and Levi are completing their Open Water Diver certifications and maybe a few more tagging along for fun before it gets too cold.

I have an employee that we hired 3.5 years ago. She hasn’t followed through with anything she said she would.

She just had a performance review and based on our original contract, may be eligible for a promotion in November. During her review, she said if she gets promoted, she would do all the things she promised she would. She seems to have no interest in doing the things she promised now, but appears to be holding out on them in order to get promoted.

What would you do?
Good advice only, as if everything depends on the right choice.
