Después de la película, tendremos un panel de conversación completamente en español, donde compartiremos reflexiones sinceras sobre nuestras experiencias en la educación infantil. Ven a celebrar, a conectar y a participar en un diálogo abierto y auténtico. Unidos somos más.

LCAM, together with MDAEYC, GatherRound, Montgomery College, and MSCCA, warmly invites you to the screening of the documentary “Make a Circle,” presented in English with Spanish subtitles. After the film, we will host a conversation panel entirely in Spanish, where we will share honest reflections about our experiences in early childhood education. Come celebrate, connect, and join an open and meaningful dialogue. Together we are stronger.

Last night, I had the beautiful opportunity to watch one of my former students perform in Matilda and not just any role, but the leading role! ❤️
Years ago, I had the privilege of caring for and teaching this amazing young girl during her early years. To now see her standing on stage, confident, talented, and shining so brightly was an incredibly special moment.
There is something truly magical about watching the children we once held, taught, encouraged, and cheered for grow into talented young people who are discovering their own gifts and passions.
As an early childhood educator, moments like this remind me why what we do matters so much.
Watching her perform tonight filled my heart with pride, joy, and gratitude. What a beautiful reminder that our little ones don’t stay little forever. 🥹❤️
I am so proud of you and the incredible young woman you are becoming. Keep shining, keep dreaming, and keep sharing your talent with the world! 🌟🎭

Reading with children from an early age is one of the greatest gifts we can give them. ❤️📖
Reading helps children build their vocabulary, communication skills, imagination, concentration, and love for learning. It also creates meaningful moments of connection between children and the adults who care for them.
Even just 10–15 minutes of reading each day can make a difference! Ask questions, talk about the pictures, let children turn the pages, and encourage them to share their ideas.
🌎 For bilingual children, reading in both languages is especially valuable. It strengthens language development, supports their cultural identity, and helps children become confident bilingual learners.

Leer con los niños desde una edad temprana es uno de los mejores regalos que podemos darles. ❤️📖
La lectura ayuda a desarrollar su vocabulario, comunicación, imaginación, concentración y amor por el aprendizaje. También crea momentos especiales de conexión entre los niños y los adultos que los acompañan.
¡Incluso 10–15 minutos de lectura al día pueden hacer una gran diferencia! Haga preguntas, hablen sobre las imágenes, permita que los niños pasen las páginas y anímelos a compartir sus ideas.
