We have filled 2 more blocks that took a HUGE chunk out of our goal.

Thank you to The Laurel Community Foundation for granting $25,000 to our community goal and a generous anonymous donor for matching that donation with an additional $25,000. This knocked $50,000 off of our community support goal getting us oh so close to 50% of our goal.

A huge thank you to all of the amazing dads and moms, who joined us for our Donuts with Dad celebration this past week! We loved spending the morning with you and appreciate all that you do for your children and families. Your love, support, and involvement make such a difference, and we are grateful to have you as part of our Building Blocks family.

We also want to recognize our wonderful community as Laurel celebrated Ag Days this past weekend with a full schedule of fun activities and events. Thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success!

A special thank you goes out to our incredible Parent Committee for organizing and creating a float for the parade. Your time, creativity, and dedication to our center do not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate everything you do to support Building Blocks and our children. We are so thankful for such an amazing group of families and volunteers!

🌱🎉 A HUGE shout-out and heartfelt THANK YOU to Pat Harrington and his Construction Trades Class at LCC for helping bring our Nature Playground vision to life! 🎉🌱

Thanks to their hard work and craftsmanship, our students now have beautiful garden beds, a rock wall, and an easel where they can draw, create, and let their imaginations soar outdoors. We are incredibly excited to continue developing our nature playground and can't wait to see all the exploring, learning, and adventures our students will experience in this space!

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Diane from Diane's Greenhouse for her generous donation of fruits and vegetables for our garden. 🍅🥒🌶️ Your support will help our students learn firsthand where food comes from, and we are excited to incorporate the fruits and vegetables they grow into our meals and snacks throughout the year!

💚 Community support like this makes such a difference, and we are truly grateful for everyone helping us create amazing outdoor learning opportunities for our children.

🌶️ We currently have a few red and green bell peppers and jalapeños available for a free-will donation! If you're interested, please stop by Building Blocks anytime Monday–Friday between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

All donations and proceeds will go directly toward our playground project and future improvements for our students.
