Laurel Christian School Laurel Christian School takes a spiritual approach to education. Laurel Christian is a private K-12 college preparatory school in Laurel, MS.

The purpose of LCS is to develop children both spiritually and academically so that they will be able to accept the responsibilities of life as committed Christians doing “all to the glory of God” (1 Cor. 10:31). LCS is an extension of the Christian home and strives to encourage, support, and inspire students and families in a system of values consistent with the Word of God. It is our philosophy that students should have a Christ-centered view of the world, mankind and life.

Ms. Ishee’s K4 students have had a wonderful start to the new school year! From learning and creating to playing and making new friends, these little Lions are already filling their classroom with lots of smiles and excitement. 💙💛

We are thankful for the opportunity to watch them learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ each day at LCS. It’s going to be a great year! 🦁

The LCS Varsity Lady Lions earned their second district victory of the season with a great team win over Centreville Academy! Congratulations to our players and coaches on another strong performance.

Our JV Lady Lions came up short, falling 12-2, but we are proud of their effort and determination. Keep working hard, ladies! The best is still ahead!

The first day of school is off to a great start at LCS! 🦁💙

Our Upper School students enjoyed the traditional pancake breakfast before assembly began. A special thank you to our Board members, Coach Tyler, and Mr. Timmy for cooking and serving breakfast!

The Lower School came alive with the return of students to campus. Their smiles and excitement made the day special.

It was a joy to see friends reconnecting, teachers welcoming students, and another great school year beginning. We thank the Lord for His many blessings!

We are excited to announce that Laurel Christian School has officially received licensure through the Mississippi State Department of Health for our new K2 class!

Hannah Wright, our Preschool Director, has worked countless hours completing requirements, checking every box, and preparing our program for this important milestone. We are incredibly thankful for her leadership and dedication.

We look forward to welcoming our youngest Lions and beginning a wonderful year of learning, growing, and experiencing God’s love! 💙💛🦁

🥎The Lady Lions are off to a great start in district play!🥎

LCS softball traveled to Prentiss Christian today and came away with a 12-1 victory in our first district game of the season.

A special congratulations to senior McKenley Allen, who had an outstanding day at the plate, blasting two home runs over the fence to help lead the Lady Lions to the win!

We always enjoy visiting Prentiss Christian and appreciate the wonderful hospitality shown to our team.

Congratulations, Lady Lions! Keep working hard and giving God the glory as you continue the season.
