Developing Your Inner Artist is back by request! This online class guides preteens to get in touch with their inner voice and authenticity while giving them opportunities to interact, learn about any number of topics, share what they know with each other and develop their inner artist.

Here we see Sophisticated Studies students learning about color theory by creating their personally inspired art with different hues of yellow, orange and red. They use their Science brains to guess what will happen with each new combination and use their Art brains to create something at the same time. This is some of what playing to learn looks like. Preteens Place and D&D class team up for an extended day experience at Art Play Learn this fall. Join Preteens Place 10-1 for games, art, group projects and individualized projects and (if you want) stay through to learn and play D&D from 1:30-3:30. Parents drop off once and pick up once!

Art Play Learn's fall session is now open for enrollment. Our tutorials are back to being offered twice per week for Beyond Basics(1st-2nd), Sophisticated Studies(3rd-5th), Preteens Place (middle) and Teen Time (high) (reorganized to mirror the other levels) with PreK and K on Fridays.

We are also offering D&D right after Tuesday tutorial so you can choose separately or do both and drop off at 10am with a 3:30 pick up.

Advanced Beginner Japanese is also offered adjacent to Thursday tutorial and is being offered as a HYBRID class so you can join both and stay through or if you are interested in just Japanese but don't want to travel, you can join via Zoom.

Online classes include:

Art & Storytime (a perennial favorite) for 7-10 year olds where you student can interact with peers and learn storytelling techniques through literature and art.

Developing Your Inner Artist for preteens and teens gives your older students an experience of finding their identity and expressing it through creating art while also exploring topics that overlap (examples could be Space Science or a cultural exploration of another country).

As always, we offer private piano lessons and tutoring in our center or over Zoom.
