Chelsea School will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in the fall of 2026. Since its founding in 1976, Chelsea School has been committed to its mission: educating promising students with specific language-based learning differences in a rigorous, individualized college preparatory environment to become lifelong, independent learners. Chelsea School serves publicly-funded and private students in

grades 5-12. We accept students with a diagnosed learning disability (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), attention deficits, and executive functioning deficits. In the fall of 2025 we launched The Oaks, a program designed to serve students on the autism spectrum who require low levels of support. Chelsea School's educational program is centered on literacy remediation. Every child receives a daily Reading Tutorial class based on the Orton Gillingham intervention model. Students are taught in small classes using multi-sensory methods and individualized instruction. For more information, visit our website at www.chelseaschool.edu
