We are thrilled to announce a new display coming to the Laupahoehoe Train Museum: A LIVE Observation Hive!

Thanks to Kaimana’s incredible craftsmanship and Jenny’s vision, we have created a live educational display. This will allow residence and travelers to view and explore the magical world inside a honeybee nest.

It brings me great joy to work with young girls to elders. May women rise and continue to stand as a Melissae and voice for the great mother bee. We are standing in the footsteps of our grandmother beekeepers

This is one of our nonprofit projects in Milolii Village. For the past four years, we have offered free education services to the youth in the village during school and after school programming that focuses on Hawaiian arts, gardening, and more. The Honeybee education program has helped fund a community fruit stand in the village, assisting with getting fruit trees in the village and in people’s yards. Aunty Momi works with youth weekly and is dedicated to this community, she is a true leader.

Beekeeping in schools on Hawaii Island in action!! When children are excited about bees, I know I’m doing the right work! For the past 4 months we were honored to work with these amazing 5th graders in Hilo.

We are excited to announce our spring immersion and retreat this April 2025 in Arizona! This four day retreat and training will weave beautifully herbalism with and voice activation with and shamanic, sacred beekeeping with for woman who want to open the hearts and sound the sacred this spring. Very limited space!

This January 22-27, 2024 we will be offering an amazing training on intutive beekeeping and the Melissae tradition and rituals that envoke the magic of the bee and human connection 🙏spirit-centered beekeeping is not a common practice in modern times but it was very much alive in the past
During this training you will tend live bee hives daily with Alison Yahna Jen Rasmussen
Sing and be in ceremony with Mary Isis Leah Diehl

And eat amazing organic vegan and gluten free meals with HeartBeet Catering
