Hi Border Buzzards! I saw a post a week or two ago showing our helmet with the red stripe and buzzard (that I believe the individual posting referred to it as a “tire/skid mark”) and was wondered where the design came from. If I’m not mistaken, and I suspect it was over a few “cold frosty” beverages (or maybe cheap Khalua from Mexico), but myself and Bob Morse (and possibly SPOT Taber?) came up with the design. The beauty of it (albeit pure luck after the fact) was that you could easily identify our BB classmates in the pattern it was so identifiable! SPOT, Bob, can you confirm or debunk my memory from 40 years ago??? Cheers, KTOWN

Hello Border Buzzards!!! I hope this post finds you all well and you are having a healthy and prosperous start to your 2025…which by the way coincides with the 40th Anniversary of our graduation from UPT. As I am now permanently on the other side of the world (Cyprus), I’m a bit “out of the BBB loop”! 🥴 Are there any plans in the works for a 40th Reunion get together? It’s official…the Cyprus Big Coastal Walk is logged on STRAVA (it doesn’t get more official than that 😂). From the STRAVA screenshots you can see the stats. Due to GPS jamming based on military activities in our “neighborhood”, ignore the leg to Jordan on the first screen shot…I did not walk there!!! 🤪😂 Due to the jamming we were one mile short (after the main walk) so a short 1.0 mile walk in the mountains near the house brought us over 17.1 miles! 😉 It was an amazing day for The Evie Dove Foundation.
