As we close out another successful school year, we openly give thanks to God for His faithfulness our HFTFCA Administration team expresses our sincere gratitude to everyone who played a role in making the 2025–2026 school year a remarkable success.

To our students, thank you for your hard work, determination, and commitment to your education. Your dedication has truly paid off, as evidenced by the outstanding achievement of 99% of our students improving by one to two grade levels this year. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and the growth you have demonstrated both academically and personally.
To our parents and guardians, thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust. Your encouragement at home has been instrumental in helping our scholars succeed.
To our teachers, staff, and volunteers, thank you for your tireless efforts, dedication, and passion for educating and inspiring our students. Your commitment to excellence has helped create a nurturing environment where our scholars can thrive.

“Gentle parenting” sounds great…

right up until your kid snaps at a teacher who isn’t allowed to “gentle” them back.

Everyone loves the idea of “communication instead of correction”

until their child steps outside the bubble

and meets a world that is not paid to tiptoe around their emotions.

Teachers don’t have an hour to unpack one kid’s meltdown

while twenty others sit and wait.

Bosses won’t pause a meeting to validate someone’s feelings.

And the police, the court system, or adult life in general

absolutely will *not* care about “big emotions” or “dysregulation.”

We’re raising kids who can name every feeling

but crumble the second they hear the word *no.*

Yes — empathy matters.

Yes — communication matters.

But so do boundaries.

So does structure.

So does discipline that actually teaches, not tiptoes.

Because the real world doesn’t hand out comfort corners

every time someone gets corrected.

A parent’s job isn’t to erase every discomfort.

It’s to prepare their child for a life that won’t go out of its way to be gentle.

So be kind — but don’t be spineless.

Be loving — but don’t be afraid to say “enough.”

Because one day, the world won’t bend for them.

And if they never learn accountability at home,

life will deliver the lesson in a way no parent ever wanted. 💥
