Our carpool lane is supervised by faculty members each morning and afternoon to ensure student safety. Please follow the designated traffic flow and have your carpool tag visible.

🛡️ SAFETY FIRST
Our campus features secure entry points, monitored hallways, and a visitor check-in system at the front office. Every adult on campus undergoes a background check before interacting with students.

🙏 STARTING THE DAY
Students begin each morning in prayer and classroom devotionals before diving into academics. It's a Piney Grove tradition that sets the tone for a focused, faith-filled day.

📰 Community of Writers: When Students Find Their Voice 📰

When Ms. Patricia retired after 35 years of teaching English, she thought her days of grading papers were over. But then she saw a need : her neighborhood in Lauderdale Lakes had no community newsletter, and neighbors had no way to share news, announcements, and encouragement.

So she gathered a group of middle school students and gave them an assignment: create a newsletter for the community.

The problem? Many students struggled with grammar, structure, and finding their writing confidence.

Enter AI.

Ms. Patricia uses AI writing assistants to help students brainstorm topics, refine their grammar, and structure articles : without doing the writing for them. Students draft their work, then use AI as a coach to improve clarity and creativity.

"The AI doesn't replace their voice," Ms. Patricia explains. "It amplifies it. These kids are now writing about community events, interviewing local business owners, and sharing devotionals. They're not just learning to write : they're learning they have something important to say."

Last month, the Piney Grove Community Chronicle published its first edition. Circulation: 200 homes. Impact: Priceless.
