Laurel Mountain Cooperative Academy (LMCA) is a community of christ centered homeschooling families that provides a parent led academic learning environment for students in grades 2 to 11.

We would like to invite homeschool families looking for a co-op for the 2026-2027 school year to join us in an Open House. Our doors will be open for tours, light refreshments and conversation with our community members.

Thinking about homeschooling but don't want to go it alone?

LMCA is a hybrid homeschool program for students in grades 1-12. It combines the best of both worlds- homeschool and classroom. Families love the flexibility and time spent with their children but also appreciate the structure and social opportunity of the classroom setting.

Now registering students for grades 1-12. Classes will include History, English, Earth and Space Science, High School Chemistry, SAT Prep, and Art as well as an optional Spanish 2 class for middle and high school via Homeschool Spanish Academy.

We also offer an archery class and participate in local tournaments via the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).

LMCA is looking to hire a part-time instructor for Grades K-2 for the 2021-2022 school year.

Classes would be Mondays and Wednesdays, 9AM-12PM, and include Language Arts, History, and Science. All curriculum and classroom supplies are provided. Please contact us at [email protected] for more details.

Homeschool Chemistry Class
Grades 9-12

Taught by Mrs. Debbie Steiner - an experienced and qualified high school science teacher.

Classes will meet Mondays and Wednesdays for 28 weeks. Limited to 10 students. Must have completed Algebra 1 to attend.
