Growing, Moving & Learning! 🍂🌳

This week, PKC4 have been learning all about trees! We brought our learning to life with a fun gross motor activity that encouraged balance, coordination, and movement.

Our friends carefully walked along a tree path on the floor, balancing across the branches and stems as they collected the leaves along the way. 🍃🌳

It was a fun way to combine movement and learning while practicing important gross motor skills such as balance, coordination, body control, and spatial awareness!

We love learning through hands-on experiences!

Have you ever wanted to adopt a pumpkin? You could name it, create it, read to it, and love it .... PKC9 did just that today! 🧡

Special Delivery from PKC-4! 💌📬

Our Community Helpers Week continued with a very special adventure!

Today, our little mail carriers became busy delivering smiles! The children created their very own mail carrier bags and hats, then wrote special letters to someone they love. ❤️✏️

Once our letters were ready, we put on our mail carrier gear and headed to the mailbox to send our special deliveries on their way! 📬

We had an exciting visit from the State Police today! Our students were excited to meet real police officers and learn all about how they help keep our community safe! 👮‍♂️🚔💙
We got to see a police car, check out some of the cool equipment, ask lots of questions, and learn about what to do if we ever get lost.
A huge thank you to our State Police for spending time with us and making learning about safety so much fun! 👮‍♂️✨

Today PKC9 learned how and why leaves turn colors in the fall. We learned that the colors are always hiding under the green, so we did an experiment with crayons and paint to see how it works. 🍁🍃
