Freshman Focus classes recently had the opportunity to hear from Cyber Warrior Studios, a professional Cybersecurity Consultant and advocate for cyber safety. Students learned how to become responsible digital citizens when using technology and social media.

Senior High students had a great time attending the Girls in Engineering Event at the Westinghouse Waltz Mill facility today. Their trip included a tour, activities, engineering disciplines lecture, and career panel. Thank you to Lindsey Demetris, Marketing Development Manager for Westinghouse, for being a wonderful tour guide for us today!

GLSH students had a great time at the "Teach the Future" Conference at Saint Vincent College. The day included an opening keynote from the PA Teacher of the Year & breakout sessions about creative teaching and learning topics that will hopefully inspire future teachers!

GLSD Seniors Cam & Zach are interning at Smail Auto Group as part of our new Mentorship Program! They are learning valuable work skills in finance, accounting, service, and sales. This hands on experience will help prepare them to be Career Ready!

They are learning valuable work skills such as merchandising, graphic design, communication skills, and historical archiving. This hands-on experience will help them prepare for what's "next" after high school.
