Training Camp has begun at Saint Vincent and the Seminary hosted the FCSLA for a day at training camp. The FCSLA has always been very generous to the Seminary and we try to pay it back but giving them them a fun day of Mass, food, and Steelers.

The Diocese of Greensburg, in partnership with the Institute for Ministry Formation, invites you to Enlighten!, a two-year academic and pastoral program in evangelizing catechesis for lay staff, volunteers and those discerning the permanent diaconate. Participants will engage in flexible online coursework, monthly in-person formation and leadership development while earning certification in catechesis. The Saint Vincent College & Seminary community is deeply saddened by the passing of Father Chrysostom V. Schlimm, O.S.B., a monk of Saint Vincent Archabbey.

"Father Chrysostom served on both the Saint Vincent College and Saint Vincent Seminary faculty. At the College, he was part of the Department of Foreign Languages, teaching both Greek and Latin, from 1961 to 1969 and 1970 to 2018. His service to the Seminary spanned the years 1964-1969 and 1984-2018. He became faculty member emeritus in 2018. He served on various college committees through the years, including the self-study for both the American Theological Society and Middle States evaluation for the College and Saint Vincent Seminary."
