North Colonie CSD is a joke

Here's another one to ponder....Why are immigrant students being bussed from a hotel on Wolf Road (Southgate Elementary's district) to Forts Ferry Elementary? 🤔🤔🤔

Attn: All SMS parents- Have we heard any information as to why Seth Harris was escorted from the building by the Colonie PD last week? 🤔🤔🤔🤫🤫🤫

Does anyone else have an issue with this statement issued by Spin Doctor Skeals? I am completely sick to death of the cover-ups perpetrated by this administration regarding threats made against the school, as well as cover-ups and non-mentions of allegations of misconduct against staff and faculty. It is time we had an open forum to express our discontent without being hushed or fearing reprisal. Read the official statement regarding the SHS swatting incidents of the week of 2/5-2/9 below:

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I want to take a moment to address recent events that have caused concern within our community. Over the past few days, there have been non-credible threats made against Shaker High School. I understand how alarming this can be, and I want to assure you that the safety and security of our students, faculty, and staff remain our top priority.

Please know that we take all threats seriously and have been working closely with the Colonie Police to thoroughly investigate each situation. While I understand the desire for complete transparency, especially during uncertain times, I must emphasize that due to the involvement of juveniles and sensitivity of ongoing investigations, we are limited in the information we can share publicly.

While there is no current threat against the school or the district, I can assure you that after any such incident, we thoroughly review our safety and security protocols and we take every necessary precaution to ensure the safety of everyone on campus. Our dedicated team of administrators, teachers, and support staff are committed to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for learning.

As parents and caregivers, your trust and confidence in our ability to keep your children safe are of the utmost importance to us. We are grateful for your cooperation, understanding, and ongoing support as we navigate these challenges together.
