Shaker High Class of 1981

We hope all is well with all of our classmates doing this very trying time.

We just wanted to make a post to let everyone know that we will hopefully be doing a class reunion next year that will include the classes of 1979, 1980 and 1981.
Early next year we will begin preparations based on the pandemic hopefully being over.
We will reach out to everyone once we begin planning and until then everyone be safe, be healthy and be happy

We now looking to reach out to those who can help with different little aspects of the reunion....nothing huge or major (unless you would like). Please post or message Robin Brant-Lopez or Lea Amorosi if you are able to help out. Just think mini pre-reunion get together's!

Well its time to get excited for our next class party! We will be joining the class of 1980 and 1979 for a multi class reunion this summer. August 8th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park. It is a Saturday evening event and the exact time will be in your invitation. Details will be emailed and posted here as well.
Some classmates have mentioned a Saratoga Race course day on Thursday, 8/6 or Friday 8/7. Details of that will also be forthcoming.

Hello again class of 1981. So from the last post it seems that everyone loves the idea of a joint reunion. The next question is does everyone want to join the class of 1980 at their 40th year reunions in 2020 or do we want to wait to 2021 and invite other classes that we hope will come? So please reply 2020 or 2021 in the comments below.

Our classmate Jack Heaphy's son was in the news recently..... Jack should be very proud.

Our Classmate Kim Frasier Rankin has had an unimaginable event happen to her and her family....Her home burned to the ground. I would not even to begin to imagine the pain, loss and worry she is feeling right this moment. We know insurance will NEVER replace everything that we have accumulated through our life.
If we (The class of 1981) all contribute just a cost of a meal, with our family, at a restaurant....we can take some of the trauma away.
