My frustration is this, once I begin educating patients about the OSL, and show them their customized data collected, it seems to me they are looking for a "quick fix". Has anyone else experienced this too?

I would LOVE it when anyone has an oral systemic case to share! okay so I will begin...one...I saw a 9 year girl in my chair last week. I looked at her oral tissues all swollen and bleeding. I had the mother in the room overlooking my hygiene prophy visit with her daughter. I asked if I could take a microscope slide on her..the mother agreed. Well, not only did this little girl have high risk bacteria...gliding rods and more..I saw bacteria I have never seen before on a slide..has anyone seen a square elongated type of bacteria?...it was not really a rod...it was perfectly square looking... she is on a vegetarian diet totally....and her extra oral exam she had dark circles underneath her eyes....I uploaded the bacteria slide I took a photo of it from the microscope....Victoria
