What a great evening of fun, connection, and community at our Games & Pizza Night! Students came together to enjoy games, pizza, ice cream, and some well-deserved time to relax and connect during the summer.

Did you know the ELC offers credit-bearing coursework to strengthen advanced spoken English and academic communication skills?
GLS 380 β Advanced Oral Presentation Skills (Undergraduate | 3 credits)
This course enhances oral communication skills for multilingual English speakers while exploring multiculturalism in the United States. Students engage in discussions, presentations, and reflection on identity, including race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, and age. The course builds intercultural awareness and supports students in expressing complex ideas with clarity and confidence.

GLS 580 β Advanced Oral Presentation Skills (Graduate | 2 credits)
Designed for graduate students, this course focuses on advanced spoken English for academic presentations and teaching contexts. Students refine pronunciation, intonation, fluency, and clarity while building confidence in professional academic communication.
