Hello, everyone. Just a quick reminder for Walter E. Jacobson Elementary School families. We have a Meet & Greet Friday from 12:30-1:50 on Friday. This is a chance to meet the teachers, drop off school supplies, and tour the schoolhouse. We hope your family can join us. GO CUBS!! 💜💜

SCHOOL STARTS MONDAY!!!!

NEW START TIME: 7:30, though we encourage all students to be on campus by 7:20.

On Day 1 (Monday) there will be a meeting for all kindergarten families in the multi-purpose room at 7:40am. Kindergarten parents and their children should enter the front doors on day 1 and head to the multi-purpose room. We will have lots of staff available to help point you in the right direction.

With the time change for my school on the horizon, I can’t help but think 30 minutes is not that big of a difference… until I think about the fact that starting at the end of July I’ll have to start getting up at 5am rather than 5:30am. 😳😳😳😩😩😩 I don’t even think old people are meant to get up so early. This feels like raw insanity. 😂😂🤪🤪 I better start practicing. Because my body requires 8 hours of sleep a night, I’ll need to be asleep by 9pm. OY‼️ Thank goodness I walk to work. 😂😂
