Did You Know? π’
Did you know that Friends of Red Rock Canyon funds the care and well-being of the nine desert tortoises that call the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center Tortoise Habitat home?
From food and habitat supplies to veterinary care and enrichment, Friends helps ensure these remarkable tortoises receive the best possible care. We also support the dedicated volunteers who help care for the tortoises, providing the resources and tools they need to educate visitors and maintain the habitat.
A special thank you to the amazing team at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital for the exceptional care they provide to our tortoises. One of our tortoises, Libby, recently needed a little extra attention, and the staff at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital ensured she received the compassionate care and treatment she needed.
Your support helps us care for both the tortoises and the volunteers who make this special experience possible for thousands of visitors each year.
