Annual Pass Photo Contest
Your photo of Red Rock Canyon could be featured on the next Annual Pass!

Friends of Red Rock Canyon, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, invites you to share a favorite photograph that captures the beauty, character, and spirit of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The winning photograph will be featured on the 2027 Red Rock Canyon Annual Pass!

Contest Rules
One entry per person.
No entry fee.
Photos must be taken within Red Rock Canyon NCA
Entries must be submitted by October 30, 2026.
Submit your photo by email to [email protected]
Please include your name, email address, location of the photo, and phone number with your submission.
Photos must be available as high-resolution JPEG, TIFF, or PNG images suitable for print. We recommend a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
You must be the original photographer and copyright holder of the submitted image.
Photos must not contain watermarks, logos, or other identifying text.
AI-generated or AI-enhanced images will not be considered. Basic photographic adjustments such as cropping, exposure, contrast, and color correction are permitted.
Photos should accurately represent Red Rock Canyon NCA as it appears in real life. Excessive manipulation or compositing may result in disqualification.
Photos will be reviewed and judged by Red Rock Canyon NCA leadership.
The winning photograph will be announced in November.
The winner will receive a free 2027 Red Rock Canyon NCA Annual Pass.

Photo Rights & Use
By submitting a photograph, you confirm that you own the rights to the image and have permission from any identifiable people appearing in the photograph. By entering the contest, you grant Friends of Red Rock Canyon and the Bureau of Land Management permission to reproduce and use your submitted photograph for purposes related to the Annual Pass and to promote Red Rock Canyon, Friends of Red Rock Canyon, and the photo contest, with appropriate photographer credit when practical.

Friends of Red Rock Canyon is proud to support this special event focused on healing, connection, and whole person wellness.

Restorative Health And Life is a Las Vegas-based mental health and wellness organization dedicated to making healing accessible beyond traditional therapy. Through counseling, Hike With a Therapist, wellness programs, and community experiences, the organization helps individuals and families strengthen their mental wellness, build meaningful connections, and develop healthy coping skills.

Forever Healing is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for healing, connection, and whole-person wellness. Through collaborative events and wellness experiences, the organization helps individuals and families access supportive spaces that encourage growth, restoration, and community connection.

Drop in for daily window talks that showcase the canyon’s magic, test your skills at Red Rock Trivia, or bring the whole family to Frogs & Froglets or the Red Rock Junior Rangers Speaker Series. However you like to connect with your public lands, September is filled with moments waiting to be shared.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service open to all. Regular Scenic Drive entry fee may be required to attend certain programs.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water. Join us in congratulating Richelle, a talented local artist, in becoming the Fall 2026 Artist-in-Residence at Red Rock Canyon NCA. 🎨✨
Richelle creates high-relief, mixed-media abstractions inspired by geology, astronomy, and natural systems. She seeks to inspire curiosity about the landscape and reflection on our relationship with the Earth and its changing ecosystems. Her residency at Red Rock Canyon will allow her to explore the region’s geology and translate its formations, textures, and deep history into new work.
We can’t wait to see how her creativity will highlight the beauty of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Stay tuned for more details on upcoming workshops and an art showcase event!

Tortoise Trot is our most important fundraiser of the year and helps support programs that connect people to Red Rock Canyon through conservation, education, stewardship, and volunteerism.

From caring for the tortoises at the Visitor Center to supporting volunteers and educational programs, your participation helps make our work possible.
