Reflecting on her college journey, Grace shared that the Rogers Foundation scholarship made it possible for her to experience all that college had to offer—from academic growth and leadership opportunities to lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

TRF Scholar Charlotte Flake continues to thrive as she moves through her Spring 2026 semester! 🎓💙 Currently enrolled in five courses—including advanced speech pathology classes—Charlotte shared how much she’s enjoying diving deeper into her studies, especially Introduction to Speech Sound Disorders. She’s also chosen to minor in Human Development and Family Science to better prepare for the meaningful work she hopes to do with future patients.
Beyond the classroom, Charlotte is giving back by getting involved on campus and joining Alpha Phi Omega, a community service–based fraternity. She shared how grateful she remains for the opportunity made possible through The Rogers Foundation and how motivated she is to make the most of it—academically, personally, and in service to others.
We’re so proud of Charlotte and can’t wait to see all that lies ahead. ✨

Rogers Scholar Charlotte Flake has officially settled into her dorm at the University of Nevada, Reno — complete with a view of the lake and a bright future ahead! Currently studying Speech and Hearing Science, Charlotte is excelling academically, maintaining straight As, and already mastering more than 400 signs in her ASL class.
She shared that she feels at home and financially stress-free thanks to the scholarship support that made her college journey possible. We’re so proud to see Charlotte thriving and following her passion for helping others through communication. 💫

Since graduation, Symone studied abroad in South Korea, exploring the cultural and biological aspects of aging, and is now preparing for medical school while serving her community as an EMT here in Las Vegas. đź’™
