β½π Husky Pack, are you watching the FIFA World Cup? πβ½
One of the best things about the FIFA World Cup is that it brings countries from all around the world together through the love of the same sport. We get to see colorful flags, national pride, different cultures, and even hear national anthems from across the globe!
What an amazing opportunity for our students to learn about geography, cultures, and the many countries that make up our worldβall while enjoying some exciting soccer matches. πβ€οΈ
Tell us in the comments:
π Which team are you rooting for?
π What country are you cheering on?
β½ Have you watched any matches with your family?
π Check out one of our very own Husky Pack students! Heβs proudly rooting for Mexico! π²π½πΊ

πΎ Husky Pack, did you feel that? πΎ
If youβre in the Clark County area and live near our school, you may have felt todayβs earthquake.
Remember, we practice safety drills at school to help prepare for situations just like this. We hope all of our Husky families are safe and using the skills youβve learned at school if needed.
π During an earthquake, remember:
β
Drop to your hands and knees.
β
Cover your head and neck under a sturdy desk or table if possible.
β
Hold On until the shaking stops.
β
Stay away from windows, shelves, and anything that could fall.
β
If youβre outside, move to an open area away from buildings and power lines.
Great job, Huskies, for remembering your safety skills! We hope everyone stays safe and takes a moment to review emergency plans with their families at home.
