What a gorgeous morning! Sweatshirt weather in the middle of August at Lake Mead?!

28 roadRUNNERS met up in the dark in the desert to kickoff our 2026 season. They ran between 3 and 9 miles before enjoying a pancake breakfast in the parking lot.

We were even joined by an alumni, Lin T (2025)!

Attention Roadrunner families!

Listed here are the late bus routes available to students who stay after school for extended day classes, athletic practices, club meetings etc. These busses will leave campus approximately 4:15pm and stop at the various stops listed here.

They are also available everyday now, and we appreciate your patience while transportation dealt with some hiccups.

The senior ladies of secta soccer celebrated their own Senior Sunrise this morning in Lake Tahoe, where they are currently competing in a tournament!

SECTA is excited to celebrate our 60th anniversary!

We are honored that the Clark County Commission and Commissioner James Gibson issued a proclamation to recognize today August 13, 2026 as SECTA Day.  

Opened in 1966 as Southern Nevada Vocational Technical Center, or VoTech High School, we are proud to continue the tradition of Building Futures for every student who comes through this school.
