Today's action step....Communicate with your database.....Now!
Don't wait till you "know more" lol. Those people wait forever.
Your buyers and sellers all saw the headlines. They are all asking questions. And their trusted professional is silent? hmmm
At our sales meeting yesterday I asked our agents who already got questions from clients. Half the room raised their hand. Answer their questions before they ask! Enter the conversation in their head.
Be the news, their beacon. Be the one. Or somebody else will communicate with them while you're getting ready to get ready cause you're scared to not have all the answers.
Nobody has all the answers. But some do have the confidence and the fire. You think you need to know more? Now imagine how lost your database feels?
There hasn't been a better opportunity to become the trusted guide since Covid. And before that since the great recession.

Let’s argue for a minute…
You need a NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!
You don’t need a NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!

Irrelavent in the grand scheme of things.
Funny what we may disagree on, in many cases both can be RIGHT.
Proven BY THE RESULT.
Here’s what you NEED for a successful 2024.
1. Know your minimum STANDARD of daily activities to accomplish the income you desire.
2. Execute on it TODAY.
Just win today.
Your year end result is the simple stacking of daily victories.
Keep it simple.
When you get overwhelmed, eliminate something that isn’t driving revenue.
When you’re not on track for your year, inspect the last 7 days of your calendar, 30 days of your calendar, and last 60 days.
Most can’t inspect and give an hour by hour report back of exactly what they did each day.
Remember this, you can’t manage whay you don’t measure.
Just don’t wander through the day “doing things”
May your actions be specificic and measurable.
May they be closest to the dollar activities that drive revenues
Make sure 60% of your day is spent in your core competency.
Keep it simple in 2024 and win.

Everyone says they want the truth, and when you give it to them...

All that’s created is a watered down, politically correct environment of people avoiding their truth and getting nowhere...
Lack of willingness to take constructive feedback can be one of the biggest obstructions to growth.
What we must do is get our FEELINGS in check so we can welcome feedback and open a gateway for growth.
Simply put, “Feelings are a CHOICE”
Our feelings are a direct result of how we choose to React or Respond...
Life experiences show up for the simple purpose of growing our emotional maturity.
We’ve all got our s**t storms of life goin’ on...
How we choose to RESPOND to them will have the biggest impact on our happiness and freedom in business and life.
How we process emotions and in turn “choose” our feelings is the differentiator.
Great leaders hold a constant consciousness around their emotions and feelings.
This is emotional maturity.

Agents want to average 3 reach outs to 1,000 leads and tell you the leads suck instead of average 30 reach outs to 100 leads and sell a lot of real estate
FACTS!
I might know considering I did approximately 4,000 one on one coaching calls in 2023 inside some of the largest databases of the highest performing teams in North America
Let me give you some facts:
1. Team completely turns of leads and sales don’t skip a beat. Hmm they went deeper not wide.
2. Agent has 250 leads. Team leader sits down with the agent and asks:
“How many of those leads have you reached out to at least 10 times personally?”
15!
Team leader strips 235 of the leads from the agent
45 days later the agent has put 4 of those 15 leads under contract when the previous 90 days the agent didn’t sell a single house
3. Agent only takes 100 leads a year. Averages a total of 44 reach outs per lead. Yes, that’s a combined 4,400 calls, emails and texts to 100 leads.
Agent sells 40 homes
Note: There’s this little tool called ZOOM, it has screen share capabilities, and on coaching calls we look at follow up boss together and today I share FACTS!!!!
Bonus Round: Agent earns the privilege to call into the seller pond! Calls a lead who has been called a combined 36 times by 10 different agents and ISA’s. Agent lands a listing appointment.

The task isn’t more brutal accountability or standards

YOU will not lose to someone else in 2024 and as a matter of fact, you’ve never lost to someone else
You will lose to the absence of an establised specific daily minimum standard of activity
You will lose to executing on that daily standard
You will lose to the boundaries you don’t keep
You will lose to your emotions if you let them get the best of you when things aren’t going your way
You will lose to the jealousy of what others are accomplishing instead of honor and curiosity about what they are accomplishing
You will lose to humility, transparency and vulnerability
You will lose to consistency
You will lose to commitment
You will lose to boundaries
The market, interest rates, inventory, another agent, team leader or brokerage won’t beat you
Nothing outside of you has ever defeated you, its always been INSIDE
What they’re doing or have done better or bigger than you is not the scoreboard, how much you’ve improved and executed today is the SCOREBOARD.
Personal Responsibility is your freedom multiplier
Tiny, daily, improvements put points on the scoreboard in the only competition you are in…
Being a little bit better than you were yeaterday and…
Playing the long game
The only person who has ever beat you is you
Be a creator, not a victim

Calling all agents on a team...
Next time you resist accountability, the standards your leader is holding you to (You Know, Doing Your Job)
Do a "Magic Pause" and ask yourself:
1. Am I getting the result in my business I want and committed to?
2. Am I doing the daily activities (Proven by the team I joined because I know the results the leader has delivered year after year) for a sustained period of time, 5 days a week, no interruptions, for 4 weeks?
When is the last time you followed the proven sales process, continually committed to improving your skills, and executed the daily minimum standard of activity your leader has told you will deliver a result for 30 days...?
NEVER!
And you say "I don't want someone micro managing me" or "the leads suck"
So your leader should just sit back and watch you fail while they. burn through cash to give you the opportunities to earn an income that has no ceiling.
Here's the deal, your team leader is holding up their end of the bargain when they hold you accountable.
You said you wanted to earn X, they are making sure you do the activities that support what YOU said you want.
Get out of the finger pointing business and start doing the look in the mirror exercise...
