We seek to provide an effective communication link between the parents, the faculty and the administration at Southern Highlands Preparatory School (SHPS). Our goal is to remain approachable for our parents and families.

Griffins & Goblins Trunk or Treat sign-ups are officially LIVE! 🚗🍬

We want to make Trunk or Treat 2026 our BEST YEAR YET, and we need our amazing Elementary & Middle School families to help make it happen! The more trunks we have, the more fun, candy and Halloween magic we can create for our Griffins. 🦅✨

🎃 Decorate your trunk — simple or over-the-top, we love them all!
🍬 Pass out treats to our students
👻 Have fun with a theme — spooky, silly, sports, movies, games…get creative!

Join us next Tuesday, September 29 at noon via Zoom to hear what’s happening around Southern Highlands Prep and what the PTO has been working on this fall! 💚💙

We’ll be chatting about upcoming events, including Boo Bash 🎃 and Trunk or Treat 👻, ways parents can volunteer and get involved, how PTO funds are supporting our school, plus updates on our school garden landscaping.

Whether you’re ready to volunteer, have ideas to share, or simply want to listen and learn more, every level of involvement is welcome!

Boo Bash is one of our biggest events of the year, and we need our amazing Griffin families to help us bring the hotel to life on Friday, October 23!

Whether you can help with setup, check-in, activities, food, photo areas, or keeping things running smoothly during the event, every volunteer makes a difference. Even a small amount of your time helps make this a memorable night for our students and families. 💚

Our annual Boo Bash is back, and this year we’re transforming SHPS into a mysterious hotel filled with costumes, tricks, treats, music, games and plenty of spooky surprises!

Our Reserved Parking Auction was a HUGE success, and thanks to your incredible generosity, we EXCEEDED our fundraising goal! 🎉

🚗 10 families now have the best spots on campus secured for the entire school year!

But the biggest win is for our students. 💚 Every dollar raised goes directly back into our school, helping support programs, resources and experiences that make SHP such a special place.

Whether you bid, shared, cheered us on or won one of those coveted spots — THANK YOU for supporting our school and our students!
