The way that stripes are handled manifestly changes how we finally assess the apparel we see. When this lines intersect, we most often look inward to the point of their connection. Rendered vertically, we tend to look upwards to the top end of the lines. But rendered as we see here, we are encouraged to view the already broadened shoulder line as even more wide than it actually is.
It is innate to our make-up that when we see lines we unconsciously follow them, so the vertical and sudden horizontal alters our perceptions.

Gelinck has been photoshopping famous people as if they're hanging out with their younger selves, and the images come out so cool, you can't help but wonder if some of his subjects have them framed.
