Today’s class was full of heart. 💕

We decorated the Project SMASH front door for Valentine’s Day, and each student wrote their name on a heart in their favorite color to add to our classroom wall. We stretched together and handed out our new glow-in-the-dark ProjectSMASH.ORG FRIENDSHIP bracelets ✨

Almost all students wore their Project SMASH shirts, and baby Xolani and Zariah were AMAZING teacher assistants today 🫶🏼

It was a heart-filled class lots of love, lots of joy, and so much gratitude. ❤️

Such a great class today! We shared highs and lows, stretched it out.

We had one free trial student and welcomed one new enrollment what a blessing!

We reviewed Acts 1, 2, and 3 of Lilo & Stitch, played freeze dance, and practiced our financial literacy terms and financial literacy alphabet. The students worked hard and showed great behavior, so they earned a treasure chest reward. Proud of this group!

Today’s class was such a blessing! We created name tags, worked on our formations, and stretched together. We then sat in a group circle and shared our highs and lows of the day. One student’s low was, “My mom woke me up too early and I was sleeping good”

For homework, the students were challenged to choreograph one 8-count, and they each got to share it with the class so proud of their creativity! We also reviewed Lilo & Stitch Act 1&2.

Students who wore their SMASH shirts earned an extra item from the treasure chest. Great energy, great teamwork, and so much growth today!

We are proud of our Las Vegas Project SMASH Instructor where she helps educate children in financial literacy and dance! We love her and going to miss her! Off to college she goes!!!!

She worked with Dignity Health Women’s Outreach Center, St. Rose Hospital, Henderson Library, and Pinecrest Academy Springs to create a library space at the Women’s Outreach Center—giving children a cozy place to read, dream, and imagine a bright future ahead. 💚

Hip-hop dance and finance
